***Our final American Red Cross CPR skills test is Tuesday-4/24...This is my test date and IT MAY NOT BE CHANGED...Failure to attend will forfeit any certification that may be given, per American Red Cross standards, rules and regulations...

***2 teacher assistants will be chosen per criteria of grades, attendance and behavior(s) to assist in a following  period if granted permission from the next period's teacher...

***Criteria for Certification...
***Preferable perfect attendance-No absences greater than 2, made up with Dr or teacher note of activity...
***No written quiz below 80(passing grade)preferred but may allow 1 test at a 70 with skills at maximum level( below 70 is not acceptable for passing)...
***Mature  attitude, behavior, and professionalism(dress, attitude, etc)...tardies and absenteism are not acceptable.
Must have taken ALL written test and skills at RED CROSS standards...within instructor make-up window.
***Must be present on Tuesday-4/24 for Final Skills Checkoff...appropriate dress and behaviors.
***This is an earned privilege for certification...no exceptions will be made-no early or late Final skills test may be given!
***$5.00 cash payment upon satisfactory completion-it is not mandatory and may not be purchased any time after I distribute them...This is a 2018 much reduced price ...

  • Chest discomfort. Most heart attacks involve discomfort in the center of the chest that lasts more than a few minutes, or that goes away and comes back. It can feel like uncomfortable pressure, squeezing, fullness or pain.
     
  • Discomfort in other areas of the upper body. Symptoms can include pain or discomfort in one or both arms, the back, neck, jaw or stomach.
